5 handy keyboard shortcuts you should know

Keyboard shortcuts are convenient key combinations that can be pressed on your keyboard to easily navigate and operate certain features without several clicks of a mouse. It is important to note that the keyboard shortcuts for Windows and MacOS systems vary. However, we have included the keyboard shortcuts for both operating systems in this post.

Here are 5 handy keyboard shortcuts that you should know:
1. Clear your browser cache 


Clearing your browser cache maximises the speed and performance of web pages, it fixes browser errors and protects your personal information. Follow the below simple steps to clear your browser cache

◦ Open your prefered web browser (eg. Chrome, FireFox etc)
◦ Press Control + Shift + Delete (or Command + Shift + Delete for MacOS users
◦ Ensure that only “cached images & files” is selected 
◦ Select “Clear Data” 

2. Reopen Closed Browser Tab


Ever closed a browser tab by accident instantly regretting it? Use the following keyboard shortcut to reopen the closed browser tab.  
◦ Windows Users: Control + Shift + T 
◦ Mac User:  Command +Shift + T

3. Refresh Browser Page 


Easily refresh your browser page without the click of a mouse using the following keyboard shortcut. 
◦ Windows Users: Control + F5 
◦ Mac Users:  Command + Shift + R 

4. Task Manager 


This keyboard shortcut is only for Windows users. Access your Task Manager with this keyboard shortcut to monitor applications, processes and services running on your pc. Press the following keys simultaneously: Control + Shift + Esc 

5. Undo 
mistakenly renamed or deleted the wrong folder?

Simply undo it with the following keyboard shortcut.
